norway + friends

My friend Magnus A.H. Myrtveit from norway went to a friends house in Volda and recorded a mixture of pump organ and piano last night and sent the recording to me to sample so i decided to make a short little piece of music with it titled "norway and friends"

Here is some footage of when i was playing/recording the piece. I used my Akai Mpd32 for midi and used a 3 chain generative setup built in live.

I decided to go outside yesterday with my tripod and setup my camera to record some footage of the sky for a new time lapse video. The audio for the video was made by processing some sounds recorded from a kalimba.

morning fog

I really enjoyed my drive this morning to north carolina despite driving with mainly my left hand due to having fractured fingers on my right, the drive was so lovely the closer i got to NC the thicker the fog was.

driving in north carolina rain

I had to drive to north carolina the other day for work and it decided to storm along the way so i pulled out my phone to record the sounds, below is a little video clip, take a listen.

I came across this little gong while i was at barnes and nobel buying some new journals and i decided to pull out my phone and sample it.

Here is a video of me working on the processing.

processed toy piano

The other day while packing some things i decided to mess around with my toy piano and record some sounds from it on my phone, i then decided to process them in live.

Here is a recording i made of the processed tones.
